Reverberation chamber LUF 1000MHz

Reverberation chamber LUF 1000MHz

A reverberation chamber is a specialized EMC test chamber generating very high field strength using modest amplifier power. The chamber is mainly used for testing electrical immunity of test objects. The shielding of the reverberation chamber model 1716-1000 is established by constructing the reverb box from a 4mm aluminum sheet material. The outside of the test box is powder coated. The COMTEST reverberation chamber, which is exclusively represented by RFT, creates a multi functional EMC test facility for commercial, military and automotive testing and has a Lowest Usable Frequency (LUF) of 1GHz.

Stirrer system for the reverberation chamber model 1716-1000

Reverberation chamber 1GHz is designed with an asymmetric triple pedal stirrer system. The pedal stirrer is vertically mounted in the reverberation box and mounted to the roof only leaving the floor of the reverberation box free for the EUT. All Comtest stirrer systems are compatible with software by Nexio, Teseq and Rohde & Schwarz. The stirrer systems can be controlled using a standard office PC or lab top. Comtest can offer the reverberation chamber as a turnkey solution incl. Nexio software, operational verification support and after sales service support.

Options for the reverberation chamber model 1716-1000:

EUT grounding strip

Various RF connectors and FO feed through and wave guides

Small EUT test table

Pair of antenna’s

Non-conductive bracket with adapter for antenna’s
